Media freedom is again threatened by Myanmar

Senior reporter for The Irrawaddy Ko Lawi Weng,
Under the military junta that ruled Myanmar for nearly 50 years, the media were tightly controlled.

The European Union on Monday urged Myanmar to protect journalists from "intimidation, arrest or prosecution" after several cases of reporters running into trouble with the law, including three detained by the army last week.
The three reporters were accused of breaching the colonial-era Unlawful Associations Act after covering the burning of drugs by the rebel Ta'ang National Liberation Army to mark International Day Against Drug Abuse.
Family members of journalists detained in northern Shan State said their loved ones are “in good health” after they were allowed prison visits for the first time on Monday.
Lawi Weng, also known as U Thein Zaw, from The Irrawaddy, and U Aye Nai and Pyae Bone Aung from the Democratic Voice of Burma were arrested by the Myanmar Army on Monday, June 26, and and handed over to the police last Thursday. They have been charged under the Unlawful Associations Act and are being detained at Hsipaw Prison in northern Shan State.

2.5 tons of trash — mostly comprising alcohol bottles — from Bhivpuri waterfall near Ashane village, almost 90 km from Mumbai.

Mumbai NGO Environment Life, which has completed clean-up drives at eight waterfalls near Nerul — Anandwadi, Jummapatti, Tapalwadi, Khopoli–Zenith, Vasai–Chinchoti, Kondeshwar and Pandavkada — requested Mumbaiites and Ashane villagers to refrain from disposing of trash at these tourist sites.

Garbage damages local ecosystems, and threatens plant and animal life. Bottles made of glass or plastic can injure animals, who may also fall sick if they consume other types of garbage.

But the truth is, I wasn’t sure. One reason: Our first kiss  was terrible. (To this day Justin says I’m the worst kisser he ever met and that he had to teach me how to kiss.) But the real reason was more complicated and had to do with the cumulative effect of bad relationship  I’d had over the years. Let me give you the backstory.

US embassy warns, Females should avoid, traveling in TUK-TUKS alone in Colombo.

U.S. Embassy Colombo has been made aware of an increase in incidents involving Tuk-tuk drivers in the Colombo area inappropriately touching female passengers. The U.S. Embassy reminds all U.S. Citizens to maintain situational awareness when in public and at home to avoid being a victim of crime.  Please consider the following security tips:

  • Females should avoid traveling in Tuk-tuks alone in Colombo.
  • If you have to travel alone (especially at night) use a company that tracks your ride rather than Tuk-tuks and make sure family members or friends know your travel plans.
  • Take pictures of the Tuk driver and vehicle license plate prior to getting inside.
  • Many of the reported incidents occurred at the end of the ride – be extra vigilant during this time and try to limit time alone inside the Tuk.
  • Place physical barriers (bags, etc) between yourself and the driver.
  • Do not be afraid to use force if needed – make noise, be assertive, and strike back to defend yourself. Doing so will not only draw attention to the scene, but can also startle the attacker
  • Pay attention to your surroundings, and know your location in case you have to call for assistance
  • Do not make yourself a target for criminals – flashing expensive jewelry or large amounts of cash can make you a target
  • Lock your doors, including when you are at home
  • Carry your cell phone and ensure it is charged or carry a back-up charger. Have emergency numbers saved on your contacts list

Human Feeling

Natural Love
To  everyone  at  all
But
Punching
Different.....

Trafficking Persons Report : US, Sri Lanka did not fully meet the minimum standards for the elimination of human trafficking.

     The Government of Sri Lanka does not fully meet the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking; however, it is making significant efforts to do so. The government demonstrated increasing efforts compared to the previous reporting period;

therefore, Sri Lanka was upgraded to Tier 2. The government demonstrated increasing efforts by establishing new anti trafficking units and creating a special police division for the protection of witnesses and victims of all crimes. While official complicity in human trafficking persisted, the government investigated 18 officials for allegedly creating fraudulent documents to provide workers employment abroad, and it prosecuted and convicted more traffickers than in the previous reporting period. However, the government did not meet the minimum standards in several key areas. At times, the government’s inconsistent identification of victims resulted in the penalization of victims for prostitution and for immigration violations committed as a result of the victim’s subjection to trafficking. The government provided no specialized services to male victims and sometimes housed child victims in government detention centers. The government maintained specific requirements for migration of female migrant workers including those migrating for domestic work, which observers stated increased the likelihood women would migrate illegally and therefore heightened their vulnerability to human trafficking.

True love , abandonment ? is it captured ?.

True love is not both. true love is the will to feel . it's not a necessity for living . people love living because they love each other to be attracted to themselves and to deceive their hearts. most people do not know about a natural process created by the mind.
nevertheless, it attracts everyone's physical  connection, it is  similar to animals. sexuality is an exciting, not love .man loves on his own needs.
Otherwise, you would like to have someone else want you. it then recognizes you as a loved one.these facts are not necessary for people to live and happiness, splendor,it is enough to understand how, to feel like the same.
In addition, many other emotions emerge from the  mind and are different from each other's external behavior and function.

For space trips, the soyuz spacecraft is used.

What Is the Soyuz?

The Soyuz (saw-yooz) is a Russian spacecraft. The Soyuz carries people and supplies to and from the space station. The Soyuz can also bring people back to Earth.

Russia is a big country. Russia helps the United States run the International Space Station. Other countries also help with the space station. But only Russian spacecraft carry people to it right now.

What Can the Soyuz Do?
Russian crew members are called cosmonauts. NASA crew members from the United States are called astronauts. Crew members from Europe, Canada and Japan are also called astronauts.

The Soyuz takes cosmonauts and astronauts to and from the space station. A Soyuz has room for three people to ride in it. The spacecraft also brings food and water to the space station.

The Soyuz is like a lifeboat. At least one Soyuz is always attached to the space station. If there were an emergency on the space station, the crew could use the Soyuz to leave the space station and return to Earth.
